bedrooms, scraprooms and halloween!!

Okay so I'm just going to rant about some things. I am redoing one of the rooms in my home to be my daughters room. I have to take out the closet and re do it and its going to take longer then I thought. I was thinking of using these:
 instead of using this:
this is from ikea its called a Pax. I would have to buy the drawers for it and that's $15 dollars for each one because you need the track to pull it out. they look like this:
like I said the wire basket is 15 and the top that is going to be white is 10. They are going to go in the Pax organizer so she doesn't have to have a drawer set outside of her closet. I do have to paint everything to the color she wants and that will take time but this is what I thought of first. If I'm going for cheap it would be the plastic things from walmart. 23 for the two skinner ones and 18 for the big one. I as well need to get this but in white (its just that the white wont show too well):
I think the later and more expensive one is going to be the best option for her. Plus it looks so much prettier then the blue plastic cheaper drawers. its just going to take money and as most people know money doesn't grow on trees (even though deep down inside I so wish it did!)


Anyways this post was more about wanting to redo my scraproom but I really do not know how! my room is this yellow in color and is bright and happy but I really wish that I could add some other color to it. I need to repaint the base boards and since I already painted one of the boards that I had white I need to paint the base board white. I have one that cuts the wall (don't know what its called) at a certain point to break the wall up. I want to paint the bottom part of the wall a light grey color.  its kinda like this but its not like that but you get the idea. its not that yellow because that's a very bright yellow!! haha.... so I really want to get the bottom part paint in a light grey color or but not sure if im going to do it I HATE painting walls!!! but if I want to do it ill do it!


I do want to re do my scrap room and I don't know what I want to do but what I do know it that I need to clean it up a bit and move things because if I don't move things then ill be suck with a big mess and I really do not want a big mess on my hands! I see all these pretty rooms all clean I kinda want mine to look like that too but lol I am a messy scrapper! oh well!!!


I cant wait to go to my crop in a couple of weeks! so super excited!!! now time to go through all my pictures to check out what I want to scrap and what im going to use in my stash! Like I said no more buying its time to use things! make my hoard go down a bit!!

Another crop for November.

Okay so like it saids I have another crop in November and I'm super excited about it. Already paid for my seat and I can't wait to use my new ott lite, that I got at Tuesday morning for 15 dollars!!! Yes you read right 15 dollars. I just check Joann's website at original price is 79.99 and it's on sale for 39.99. This is what it looks like. 

So you can see all the paper around it that I didn't get because I really didn't need it. I have so much paper that I need to use it and not buy more. So then I took another picture of one of the lifts they had and I sent it to one of my scrapping friends that has been looking for one. But the one I showed her is a bit bigger then this one. This one I got it more for crops because I do have two big ones in my scrap room. So the one I got her retails for the same as I mine. 89.99 and is on sale for 39.99 as well but the only difference is that it was 5 dollars more then what I paid for mine!!! Yes you all read it correctly. I paid 20 for this big one 

And 15 for the little clip on one. So super excited about the deal I got that I want everyone to know. I also go two things from amazon.com for when I'm scrapping anywhere because I hate having my drinks on my table just in case it falls and gets all my table wet! Not fun at all!!! So here is what I got. 

So let's see if I like them at all if not they will be returned. The one with the flowers is a caddy and it will hold all the things I need but will not have to be on the table taking up space. That's what I like about it the most. It seems like the one that would help me keep everything in it's space. Since I have noticed that I'm a messy scrapper. And you know what that's okay to be a messy scrapper. Not everyone is super neat! I know I'm not lol!

I passed

So as you all know I was studying for my boards and I passed!!! Yay I'm finally an rn. Anyways I just wanted to show what I have been up too for the last couple of months. Haven't really shown any pictures in such a long time. So I hope you enjoy! They chipboard name is for my niece. Used some flowers and shells that I had. Her room is under the water theme. 

Not sure if anyone saw this but I made it for my sisters baby shower. It was so much fun to make I just wish I had the big rubber bands. 

And then this was today's adventure. Craving pumpkins. So anyways I hope you guys have a good week. 

Good morning!!!

So yesterday was amazing!! I had so much fun at the crop that if I can I will be doing it again. I was able to do an entire 6x6 for my niece. Well the pictures that I did have I but them together but I need more pictures of her. I did about 3 12x12 cruise picture layouts and then I did about 4 more 12x12 layouts. So over all I have a good time and got a lot of work done. But when I got home Brianna was with my mom at my sisters house and they decided to sleep over so I stayed up and did more cruise lay outs. The only thing I have left is key west and Cozumel to scrap. But that's about 8 layouts to finish everything! So I still have a ways to go to finish that trip. But that's going to take time and at the moment I do not have time. So anyways I hope you all have enjoyed your weekend I am off to start my Sunday. 

This weekend.

Okay so this is the weekend that I will be attending my first crop. Today I will be finishing getting everything ready so all I have to do is just add my pictures to my layouts. But I did do this layout before I decided to start packing. This is Brianna during last years Christmas. We went to the house that always has Christmas decorations up. I just cant seem to upload it! ugh!! I have tried like 6000 times. Well maybe not that many but I have tried a lot. When I can I will upload it so you guys can see what I've done. I'm not totally sure if I am down with it. I feel like it is missing something.


But I guess this computer doesn't want me to upload it. Anyways yesterday I went to the movies to see The Book of Life. Oh man it was a great movie! Its a little kids animation but the animations are great and beautiful. I really will not tell the plot but it was amazing. I was able to go see it because of Fandango Family and it was worth the wait. We got to see the movie in 3D and there was popcorn and sodas, but over all it was an amazing movie to go watch with your kids or even yourself. At work I have been telling everyone that they need to go take there kids to go watch it. And get this it was FREE!!! Yes they sent a little email to I guess certain people and I decided that this was well worth it. I hope I can do it again. I would love to see Mockingjay before it comes out! I can tell you this my daughter was in love with the graphic of the movie and the skeletons are beautiful! The best part of all of this is that right before the movie they were giving out 200 dollar gift cards for fandango. The last gift card's question was about Harry Potter and I am a super Harry Potter nerd! So when they ask and they picked a girl and she got it wrong and then he started walking my way I was like omg I so totally know this! Gave the right answer and bam got me 200 dollars for the movies! YAY!! That's not all at the very end of the movie they were giving away 15 dollars worth of tickets per person. So this weekend my daughter will be going to the movies with her Godmother and when Mockingjay comes out I will be getting tickets for that movie! So overall I had an amazing experience with Fandango Family and I hope to be invited for more of these things. I was completely amazing at how far beyond they go to make you feel like family and to have an enjoyable experience.


Cant wait for this weekend and I cant wait for another invitation to a special screening of the movie!

one more week!!

So I have one more week till I get to go to my crop I am very excited and my items from Michaels came in and I am so excited to have them packed and ready to go. I have printed out more pictures so I have them. I just need to go pick  them up and send some more pictures to get printed. I really cant wait till I can get all my pictures done so I do not have to worry about printing anything.


So while I sit at work and really its been a boring day, I cant help to think there are things in my life that I need to change. I have been looking into relocating but to where I do not know. I just need to take my test and be done with it all! I need to move on with my life and get out of Miami. Right now that is the best bet for me. maybe going to where Mallory is located might be a better place for me. Getting outta here might help me and Brianna. Doesn't mean im going to find someone but it will get me out of here. plus Miami really isn't doing anything for me at all anymore. its the place I grew up but not the place to reason a family. but really its time to start looking.
