been away too long!

So i know i havent blogged in a while but i wanted to show everyone what i was working on recently! ive been so mia because i havent had time to even do anything! hope you all forgive me. so yea these are the pictures and i got some more videos up on youtube go check it out! http://www.youtube.com/user/naycrt

Hi like ive said before i am such a bad blogger. okay but i do have somethings to show! i have some picture from v-day. i made the teachers some of those wooden frames that they where selling at michaels. this is what i came out with. i couldnt get the picture from the one that has the white flower. there is another picture frame but it didnt upload. so anyways i just covered them with paper from k and co. i forgot the paper lines name. the flowers are from michaels wedding side. i colored them with glimmer mist and distress ink. mod podge and bling and there you go a nice home made present for the teachers. i also invested in a bind it all! i know it took me a while but i really really wanted one! so i got it at tuesday morning for 50 dollars plus some chipboard and some 1/2 in o wires. i also bought some more o wires and the wire cutter! im very happy with it and i cant wait to use it! so guys head out to tuesday morning because they have some awesome things for you! now i think im going to go make something!

Almost a month later

WOW its been almost a month since I have written anything. I havent done too much shopping (well I've tried not too!!) I went to Fort Myers recently and I noticed a new sign out by a shopping area. Guess what I am getting by the apartment... HOBBY LOBBY!!! Here in miami we dont have one and im super excited I have only heard good things about HL and im so excited to have one there. When I go there I can go spend some money there! So anyways I did a shaker plate that I havent taken pictures yet of it but its more kid friendly because its more so for my daughters pictures then anything else. I as well got the new Tim Holtz components stamps. I got two santa ones that are very cute and one reindeer and they are actually really cute! I as well got some stamps for invites. My daughter birthday party is at Chuck E. Chesse and they do not have invites you could pick up because there was so many people that i sent invites to that i didnt have the time to make but i did anyways. So back to what i got. I picked up some flourish bling in blue, clear and brown. I got a embossing magic that was on sale. I also picked up two new distress inks in warm lipstick and fire brick. I might have fire brick but im not totally sure and if do ill just go back to Ms and return ot. Then I went to Tuesday morning to see if there was any primas flowers there. Nope but I did get my daughter and cousin some cameras from TM. I also got white cardstock from cardstockonline.net. Which is Couture Cardstock. I love this cardstock and i have so much of it but its just so yummy! So thats about it when i get the time im going to take some pictures of my plate so you can see it. i hope that everyone has a great holiday! i hope everyone was a good boy/girl. See you guys soon!

So BAD!!

Well like it saids... I am so bad because I havent blogged in two months! I have been sitting at my craft table but ive been making christmas ornaments! I love them. they are just perfect for my christmas tree this year because I want every color on the tree this year! And I mixed some of the glitter! So its a little two toned sparkles!

So anyways I need to take pictures and ill post them when i can! I as well have to go make my pumpkin pie because my DD is pushing me to get me downstairs to do the pumpkin pies.. YES PIES!!! i have like two or three to do! ugh so much work so little time! okay well I promise I will write more often. And for all of you that go out shopping tomorrow night good luck this will be my first black friday! OMG!!! I SO SCARED!!!! okay good bye!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!

1 week done who knows how many more to go!

So first week of school went by and thank god my daugther likes her teachers. I waited for the first week to be over so I could see who her teachers where and the gender. I wanted to make them some post it note holders from the cube post it notes that they were selling in office max. Ive seen everyone make post it not little books but not actual cubes. So I made 5 though Brianna has 6 teachers. Only 5 of them are regular teachers the 6th one is either art, music or p.e. So instead of doing 6 I made 5 but I bought 6 of them just in case. It was very easy to make and the actual measurements I dont have because I did them by trial and error but I know that the length to make it is about 8.5 inches (give or take more like take) and then scored at 2, 4, 6, 8 and then scored again at about 1 1/4th. This is the part that might be a little bit confusing but once you have it all scored and folded. There will be one side longer then the other.Measure the sides to see which one is closest to the cubes height. Cut till the scored line (the one that isnt the measurement to the cube) at 1 1/4th. (Ill show the picture later on in another post since I am at work.) Then fold and glue together. its going to look like a box. Punch an opening in one side. I only have a circle punch so mine are half circles but if you have an oval punch it might actually work a bit better. Well here are the pictures of one of the cubes. This one came out the best I think because by that time I had gotten the hang of it. I hope that I didnt confuse anyone and if you have any questions please feel free to ask me.

By the way they are sitting on a piece of chipboard. I cut that 3x3. covered with paper and with my adhesieve I glued it on and there you go. Its sturdy and it looks very cute. I hope you guys like it!

WOW

Well its been so long since I've been on here but I'm back. School is about to start and now I'm going to have time for once. i can get back to actually doing something! My daughter wants to me have her birthday now because she wants a pool party. So I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do her invites. I still haven't picked a date but its going to be soon. So she can actually have a pool party which I never got to have while i was growing up because both our birthdays are in January and I really don't think that weather is right for a birthday party! Then for my apartment in Fort Myers I went to Ikea and got a the little mirrors that they have which is surround by wood. Plus I got an expedit the one with four cubes for only 20 dollars. It was in the as is section. If the lady didnt take them all i do would have taken all three that where there. They had another one recently and that one was huge but I really couldn't fit it in my car :(. oh well. so I know its short but i really dont have any pictures because 1 i dont have my camera with me and 2 i have to get ready for work. hope everyone has a great day!

hey everyone! How is everyone doing? As you can see in the pictures my little one is modeling my new hair pieces. I decided instead of buying her new hair accessories why cant i just make it. so here is my new hair accessories and she loves them. she actually helped me make them. Yes i do have some more but they arent placed on anything. I do need to get some alligator clips and some more head bands to put them on. I actually like making these because they are extremely easy to make and then just having to place it on clips and head bands. So other then that i really havent done anything other then these flowers. I have just been working like crazy but i need to work so yea. Other then that I have been just trying to get some things finished in the house. I really just came back from vacation not that long ago. So its just me working and trying to get things going from my point of view. So anyways i was wondering what everybody everyone thought about these hair items. i wanted to sell them but i dunno if thats going to happen. I have made some small haul videos on youtube if you want to see. My videos are under the name Nikki a. so if you guys want to see it then go my youtube channel and see my videos. I feel that i need to have both my blog and my youtube channel out in the open. i would like more people to see both so they can try whatever they want. well i need to get back to work.
